Résumé. – À Xanthos, la reconstitution d’une inscription monumentale latine permet de dater la refondation d’un dipylon, qui coïncida avec la célébration des Quindecennalia de Valens (28 mars 378), et d’identifier son dédicant, le Sidyméen Fl. Eutolmius Tatianus (CSL), dont le nom a été martelé. Deux bases de statue inscrites en grec et exposées à l’origine devant les piliers du dipylon faisaient partie de l’ensemble : l’une de Valens, l’autre de Valentinien. En outre, le commentaire sur les célébrations du Dies Imperii, et précisément des Quindecennalia, offre l’occasion de rouvrir le dossier d’une inscription de Cius en Roumanie.
Abstract. – In Xanthos, the reconstruction of a monumental Latin inscription makes it possible to date the refoundation of a dipylon, which coincided with the celebration of the Quindecennalia of Valens (28 March 378), and to identify its dedicator, the Sidymean Fl. Eutolmius Tatianus (CSL), whose name has been erased. Two statue bases inscribed in Greek and originally positioned in front of the pillars of the dipylon were part of the ensemble: one of Valens, the other of Valentinian. In addition, the commentary on the celebration of the Dies Imperii, and specifically of the Quindecennalia, allows for reconsidering an inscription from Cius in Romania.
