Résumé. – Ce travail traite des différences relevées dans les hommages épigraphiques rendus aux membres des élites locales en Hispanie, en particulier les cas où les inscriptions de plusieurs dédicants ont été conservées. Cette contribution s’intéresse à la définition des objectifs des dédicants lors du choix du texte, et, par conséquent, aux raisons qui ont motivé, dans les inscriptions, les différences notables pour un même personnage. L’article propose une réflexion sur l’identité et le genre de ceux qui offrent l’hommage.
Abstract. – This work addresses the differences in epigraphic tributes to members of the local elites in Hispania for those cases in which the inscriptions of various dedicants have been preserved. It is about determining the objectives that the dedicants were looking for in the choice of the text and, therefore, the priorities that moved them and that have given rise to notable differences for the same dedicatee. The article proposes a reflection on the identity and gender of those offering the dedications.
