Résumé. – Dans cette étude, après une introduction portant sur le Pindare de Marguerite Yourcenar, en particulier sur sa publication, son organisation et son articulation (I), nous tentons, sans prétendre à l’exhaustivité, de donner un aperçu de la conception complexe et variée que Yourcenar avait de la poésie pindarique, en l’abordant par thèmes (II). Sans jamais renoncer à embrasser le Pindare dans sa totalité, et sans renoncer non plus à faire référence à d’autres ouvrages (notamment La Couronne et la Lyre), nous nous occupons davantage de la seconde section du livre, intitulée « L’Œuvre », qui contient les arguments les plus utiles à l’égard de la recherche ici présentée.
Abstract. – In this study, after an introduction dealing with Marguerite Yourcenar’s Pindare, in particular with its publication, organization and articulation (I), we attempt to provide an overview, without claiming to be exhaustive, of Yourcenar’s complex and varied conception of Pindaric poetry, by approaching it thematically (II). Despite some consideration of this work in its entirety, and while referring to other works of Yourcenar (in particular La Couronne et la Lyre), this article is most of all concerned with the second chapter of the book, «L’Œuvre», which contains the most useful arguments for the research presented here.
