Résumé. – Un des pinakes provenant de la bibliothèque du gymnase de Tauromenion fait de Callisthène d’Olynthe un epistolagraphos d’Alexandre le Grand. Pourtant, le statut et le titre s’avèrent douteux. En revanche, ce qui semble être une erreur du lapicide pourrait nous donner de précieuses informations quant aux origines du Roman d’Alexandre attribué, rappelons-le, au Pseudo-Callisthène.
Abstract. – One of the pinakes from the library of the gymnasium of Tauromenion makes Callisthenes of Olynth an epistolagraphos of Alexander the Great. However, the status and title are doubtful. On the other hand, what seems to be an error of the engraver could give us precious information as for the origins of the Roman d’Alexandre attributed, let us recall it, to the Pseudo-Callisthenes.
