Résumé. – L’assassinat à Smyrne en janvier 43 av. J.-C. du proconsul d’Asie C. Trebonius conduit à dater de ce moment les assises judiciaires tenues dans la cité. Or, celles-ci s’y tiennent à l’époque impériale fin février-début mars. Ce changement est dû à des reconfigurations calendaires d’époque augustéenne. D’autres réflexions concernent les koina Asias, la présence du proconsul à ce concours, ses rencontres avec le koinon d’Asie. Smyrne avait une activité publique nourrie en début d’année (ca. 151-157).
Abstract. – The assassination in Smyrna in January 43 BC of the proconsul of Asia, C. Trebonius, allows us to date the judicial assizes held in that city to that moment. However, during the imperial period, these sessions were held in late February-early March. This change was due to reconfigurations of the calendar during the Augustan period. The article also discusses the koina Asias, the proconsul’s presence at these games, and his meetings with the koinon of Asia. Smyrna had a busy public life at the beginning of the year (ca. 151-157).
