Abstract. – This article presents four newly discovered inscriptions which have been found in Albania in 2015. They come from Amantia, most probably from Byllis and from the monastery in Mesopotam. They mention the existence of a second prytan and the first peripolarchos in the state of Amantes. In Byllis, archeologists have found a tombstone built by a woman with a latin name, in memory of her husband, flute-player; and at the monastery in Mesopotam, a beautiful inscription with a passage from St. John’s Gospel, made in 1733.
